3) I studied at King’s College London (the medical campus was next to The Shard, right in the heart of London)

5) I got married to my best friend just over 6 months ago! #allpraisebetogod
6) My husband and I did long distance for over 2 years after he got offered a job here in NYC. It was very tough, but made us appreciate the small things and made us great communicators! (And Alhamdulillah for God’s plan!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7) I’m ethnically Pakistani and feel a strong connection to Pakistan, despite being born & raised in England. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8) I’m currently studying for the USMLE exams (United States medical licensing exams). These are exams that everyone who wants to practice as a doctor in the US has to take. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9) After taking the American medical exams (and there are a lot of them!) I’m hoping to apply for residency training in New York iA
10) I’ve known I’ve wanted to be a doctor since I was 9 years old and I did well in an end of year science test in Year 5 (5th Grade) so it feels pretty cool to be on the other end of this lifetime long dream! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
